She never asked him to explain. She only asked what he was going to do now, and he had no answer that was braver than the truth. Some endings are quiet because everyone already knows how the story goes. The loudest thing in the room is the person who finally stops lying.

I wrote a poetry book ‘Between Heaven & Earth’ and it’s out now It’s a collection of poems about love, heartbreak, loneliness, inner struggles, healing, and the quiet journey of understanding yourself and life along the way.

If you’d like to read it, comment “book” and I’ll send you the link

Just Best Friend Things 🤪

Not what I was expecting for my Halloween 😭. Cinder was found crying for help in a dumpster by, @bedstuy_cats rushed over with a carrier and brought him straight to @vergbrooklyn. They suspect he has some kind of neurological disease, or potential spinal trauma. But because he was stable, the ER was unable to admit him. So they brought him to me where I was celebrating Halloween at a friends. I will be bringing him to @parkslopevet on Wednesday to hopefully learn exactly what is going on with our little buddy 😭. I love you Cinder!! And so grateful to the many people who had their holiday interrupted by our special guy.

Thank you to @john_t_hollands and @majkahahn for finding him and staying with him until help arrived! And @bedstuy_cats and @ejachimiak for spending your afternoon in the ER and transporting him to me. It takes a village!!

5 manuals AND battle trumpets!!! Loving getting to know the organ of West End UMC in Nashville ahead of tomorrow’s concert. It’s always a fun brain challenge adjusting to the different console layouts and pedal boards - this one is rather different to the last organ in Dallas so it means a lot of today has been spent on retraining my muscle memory again - but so worth it!! :)

Neha Bora brutally cooked Gyanu and the BJP-RSS. The freedom fighters fought to give Indians the right to choose their rulers, not to have their rulers choose who gets to vote.
