President Donald Trump vowed to protect Elon Musk and said he would consider preemptively pardoning the world's richest man and other White House aides as Democrats prepare for investigations if they take control of the House of Representatives. "It's talk, but if it is talk, we'll have to protect them," Trump said in a podcast interview with the New York Post when asked about the potential for House Democrats to arrest Musk and seize his assets if they gain power. Trump said he would issue preemptive pardons to Musk, a close ally, and other potential targets of Democratic investigations if he believes it is necessary to protect them, even if they've not been formally charged with any crimes. ・ Just the Way I Am I can’t sleep tonight, My mind is spinning round and round, Feels like it’s gonna burst, There’s no peace to be found. It always happens this way, The harder I try, the more I give, A little piece of my heart fades away, But I’ve still got a life to live. And I’ve got to carry on, Though I’m tired down to my soul, No time to stop, no time to sigh, Just another day goes rolling by. But I’m still me, Yes, I’m still me, Learning to love the man I see. With all my doubts, with all my scars, I’ll keep on going, just as I am. Oh, just the way I am, Just the way I am.
