OUR FIFTH AND FINAL TRANSCENDENCE VOL 4 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT IS: Villainous Tempo - an open format Drummer/DJ duo from Pittsburgh, PA with National accolades 🥇

“Villainous Tempo is a misfit music duo forged in Pittsburgh, PA consisting of disc jockey Jake Barney (aka Senseishun) and drummer Jordan Bosland. Both artists have over two decades of experience creating music and have performed at some of the city’s most renowned venues, including Spirit, Cobra, Mr. Smalls, and Brillobox. Formed in 2023, they have taken the local music scene by storm and were recently crowned the 2025 Champions of the “Crash the Decks” National Drummer/DJ Tournament, effectively being the first team to ever earn the revered National Belts in the nine year history of the competition. Their open format sets hit harder than a freight train and feature sounds that span across the entire spectrum of musical genres. While they mainly focus on electronic styles like UKG and Drum & Bass, they pride themselves on being able to blend an incredibly wide range of songs into one seamless mix, often throwing in essences of Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B, Rock, Metal, Jazz, Funk, Soul, and even a few of your favorite Emo and Pop-Punk ballads from time to time. With their eyes set on the future, their goal is to push this project as far as it will go with hopes to play music festivals and shows across the Globe, inspiring everyone they meet along the way and leaving behind a legacy that ensures you will never forget the name: Villainous Tempo.”

Our reputation precedes us, and we are here to make a statement. I have been organizing this dance night for over four years, and words cannot describe how elated I am to have witnessed the evolution/growth of not only myself, but this event and all of the artists who have Transcended with me from Volume 1 until now. Whether you’re an OG who has been rockin’ with me since my early 2000’s Rave days, or if you’re a new friend who I just met after laying it down on a local dance floor, just know that I love and appreciate you and that I can’t wait to TRANSCEND to a higher plane with all of you this Saturday 🥹
