*no salmon were harmed in the making of this video

Salmon are one of the most iconic fish species migrating through #Redwood streams.

These fish spend most of their lives in the ocean, and they return to the streams for spawning from November through February.

While we are getting to the end of the run, there may be a few salmon still running up creeks, so keep your eyes peeled.

What is your favorite fact about #Salmon?

We need to do a lot more Forest management. Up near the headwaters of a lot of these places Trinity county I took a long hike. I'm kind of sad of what's actually happening in Trinity. A lot of dead standing killed by bark beetles. And those that were dead standing when we did get a little bit of snow fell. There is a bad management of forest fire ingredients. Laying on the ground and standing. When our tribe had access to the land and there weren't houses everywhere we used to light it on fire frequently and then walk away. And when we came back to it it was fertile ground to hunt and it didn't create horrible fire experiences of course that was before insurance. And ownership.

My fellow National Park patrons, Texas sure could use your help! The border wall is set to go through Big Bend National Park blocking much of it's pristine, beautiful land from visitors and endangering wildlife by blocking river access. If you want to help, pleased sign the petition at change.org. ( search for Big Bend) thank you!
