A water mark on the floor can make a nearby object appear to float because it tricks the brain’s perception of shadows and depth. Our brains use shadows to determine whether objects are touching the ground. When a dark water stain appears beneath or beside an object, the brain may mistake it for the object’s shadow, creating the illusion that the object is suspended above the floor.
This optical illusion happens because the brain relies on visual shortcuts to interpret three-dimensional space. If the stain resembles a shadow but appears slightly separated from the object, the brain may interpret that gap as height above the ground. Interestingly, the illusion can disappear once you recognize that the supposed shadow is actually just a wet patch.

😮‍💨 just listen to how buttery that voice sounds. After being away for a few years looks like H.E.R. is about to be back. And yes on behalf of all R&B fans worldwide. We’ve missed you dearly 🥹… can’t wait for this to drop @hermusicofficial

Loves☺️ this was my jetski ride today 🥰🙃

Entering my birthday month like ♏️
@tberolz had Claude roast his photos from our entire photo archives. The biggest takeaway was that over the years (and more specifically since having less time to shoot since becoming parents) we developed patterns that worked for us. He and I pushed ourselves to think differently and switch things up in Paris. These were some of my favorite results.

Such a beautiful day here in Gandia (Spain). Good morning 🌞❤️💋
