Lavender plants have had many uses throughout history. In Ancient Egypt, it served as perfume during the mummification process. In Ancient Greece, it was used to treat insomnia and ease pain. And during the Bubonic Plague, it was considered a remedy to ward off potential disease. Truly, it is a wonderful plant, with a beautiful color, and a sweet and minty smell!
