Unveiled today in New York, the @porsche Mission S offers a glimpse into the future of the brand’s design language. Drawing inspiration from icons like the 550 Spyder, 911 and GT1, the concept pairs familiar Porsche proportions with a mid-engine layout and a pared-back, driver-focused interior. Alongside the reveal, Porsche confirmed plans for a new mid-engined super sports car platform positioned above the 911. A look at where Porsche is headed, with its history firmly in view.
A TV debate can make two people fight over religion. But who is debating the state of India’s government schools? Bring a Muslim guest, bring a baba, put them opposite each other, and turn religion into a spectacle. The argument lasts 30 minutes. The channel gets its TRPs. And the audience is left with more reasons to hate its neighbours. But when was the last time prime-time television gave the same attention to the problems facing government schools? India’s government-school count fell by roughly 94,000 between 2014–15 and 2024–25, according to figures cited in a NITI Aayog report. Yet the question of why schools are disappearing deserves far more public scrutiny. If fewer children are enrolling, shouldn’t the government be asking how to bring them back? Why should shutting down schools become the answer? When religious fights get more airtime than education, whose problems is the media actually reporting?
