Saving the best for last… wow. ❤️💛
To be recognized by Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School 🙏🏽especially to close out Black History Month, is something that truly humbles me.
McAuley didn’t just educate me. It shaped me. It strengthened my faith, sharpened my discipline, and gave me the confidence to walk boldly into rooms I once only dreamed about. The foundation I stand on today was built in those hallways, on that stage, and in those classrooms.
I’m especially emotional thinking about my music teacher, Carrie Alifantis. Thank you for sculpting me musically and seeing something in me before I fully saw it in myself. The seeds you planted continue to grow in ways I could have never imagined.
From choir rehearsals to executive meetings… God is intentional. And I carry McAuley with me everywhere I go.
