Volleyball has always seemed fascinating. Watching haikyuu while procrastinating studying definitely contributed towards this feeling.
Didn't know how much justice I could do to all the amazing volleyball players who helped make this video possible [ @amolv__, @ananth_6705, @amey.bangera, @dnebhrajani_, @vaibooooo, @prajnapenmetsa, @sashangh_dr, @atharvvbhatt ], but I tried my best.

Realised this: that the time of shooting, especially when you're outdoors, matters A LOT. When outdoors, the Sun is the primary source of light, and the lighting conditions can change drastically really quickly. Sadly, we didn't have a lot of time to shoot this, and we ended up with half the shots done when the Sun was up, and half when it went down. Huge disparity in the lighting conditions, which only seemed more intense when I saw the footage in the editing software. Well then, back to the drawing board, decided to see if rotoscoping and masking could help me 'build a new visual world' for this video. A world where lighting didn't really matter.
.
Turned out to be one of my most complicated projects till date, but I really tried to go all out. Anyways, hope y'all like the 'gritty ethereal black and white' aesthetic. Was a new style for me too!
