For years I would say I don’t have a problem with alcohol BUT I think that’s me just not wanting to admit that alcohol does not agree with me! The last few years I’ve barely drank, but most times I have it’s started with 1-2 drinks and I’m all good and then the second or 3rd time you go for 1-2 it leads to more because you get confident and cocky that you can handle it. When I reflect back on my life everything bad that’s ever happened and I’ve ever done, has been down to alcohol and the situations I’ve put myself in. I don’t like myself tipsy/ drunk and I certainly hate myself the next day, so I’m not doing it anymore girls. This year I’ve drank a few times and nothing bad has happened this year but my mental health suffers the next day I don’t know if this is out of fear of becoming like one of my parents or I don’t know I can’t say too much on this topic. But I’m choosing to do things my way and take action and not drink ✨ this isn’t a trend this is me realising what works for me! I hope if you keep making a fool out of yourself, pitting yourself in dangerous situations or causing harm to your mental health that you will pull back too! As I said loads of my clients are grand they have a ball drinking and it doesn’t affect their progress or them in general but for me I’m a disaster! This is just my brain dump girls on my sober Saturday! Have a fab weekend ✨

And just like that, we’re done🙂‍↕️ This 50 days has truly come and went so quickly, but yet I remember being in the midst of it really wishing it would be over sooner than later. From all the early morning wake up times after super busy nights at the restaurant to make sure I beat the vegas heat (I never did btw🥲), to losing literal toe nails and bleeding through more socks than I could tell you. Trying to stay on top of training as best as possible while still working full time and on my feet for hours on end most nights. Being self conscious most days and more worried about people looking at me shirtless on a run than the actual run itself. Making sure I still was able to complete these runs regardless of what I had going on or where I was. Whether I was happy, sad, mad, angry, tired or sore one thing stayed a constant and remained a non negotiable and it was these runs every morning. Last year I set out to run 2 miles everyday for 100 days and fell short by just shy of 2 weeks from something that was out of my control so attempting and completing these runs was so much more than just these 50 days. If you would’ve told younger me that didn’t even have the option to walk for years let alone stand on his own 2 feet that in my mid 30’s I somehow would accomplish running 3.12 miles every morning for 50 days straight with the bionic feet I have today, I’d probably think you were lying through your teeth. Anything is possible friends, you just have to want it bad enough. 🫶🏼 5K Everyday For 50 Days Day 50/50 ☑️ Shoutout the training program that made me feel fit enough to complete this without a doubt in my mind @the_emom_company @brandon.m.luckett #justkeepmoving #keepchasing #5keveryday #run #strava
