Nearly 1 year into my faith and I have zero words to explain the work God has done. He has used me in the most absurd way possible and I have been blessed to be accompanied by the greatest people ever. Last year, camp changed my life. This year, camp reset my heart. Thank you Jesus ♥️.

TRICK OR TREAT?! 👻 Halloween is actually a relatively new tradition here in Sweden. At least the American version of it! In the US, people obviously go ALL IN! 🇺🇸😂 Entire neighborhoods turn into horror movies, with gigantic spiders, life-sized skeletons, tombstones on front lawns, fog machines, and decorations that probably cost more than the average Swede earns in a month! And here in Sweden? 🇸🇪 We put a pumpkin from the grocery store on our doorstep, light a little candle, and immediately start wondering if we’ve gone a bit overboard. 😂 Because God forbid the neighbors might think we’re getting a little too excited about something! But things are actually changing! Every year, more pumpkins, cobwebs, and skeletons appear in Swedish neighborhoods. Kids run around shouting “TRICK OR TREAT!” while we adults have finally found a socially acceptable excuse to dress up, party, and look completely ridiculous! 😂👻 Then, of course, we have our own beautiful tradition, All Saints’ Day. ❤️🕯️ A peaceful holiday when we visit cemeteries, light candles, and remember loved ones who are no longer with us. It’s a wonderful tradition that deserves to be preserved. Two completely different ways of marking this time of year. One filled with peace, reflection, and candlelight. The other with bloody zombies, plastic spiders, and grown adults running around dressed as devils. 😂 I honestly think we need a little more of the second one! Because we’re now entering that absolutely WONDERFUL time of year in Sweden when the sun rises just as you arrive at work and disappears before you’ve even had time to think about lunch. 🌧️🥶 Everything is grey, wet, cold, and dark. Your car is dirty five minutes after washing it!
