In light of the current developments in the Middle East, the Government of Indonesia has decided to postpone the 12th D-8 Summit in Jakarta, originally scheduled for 15 April 2026.
Indonesia remains fully committed to its Chairmanship of the Developing Eight (D-8) for the 2026-2027 period. The Summit will be rescheduled to a later date following consultations with D-8 Member States.
Under the theme "Navigating Global Shifts: Strengthening Equality, Solidarity and Cooperation for Shared Prosperity," Indonesia continues to promote dialogue, cooperation, and solidarity among countries of Global South.
Further information on the new date will announced in due course.
