Story time. ❤️‍🩹 So I had spent an entire week preparing for one of my closest friend’s wedding reception. I genuinely felt like I was in the best shape of my life, was feeling my best, and thought I was going to absolutely kill the look. But life had other plans. Somewhere during the two-hour drive to the venue, my body suddenly reacted. I started shivering, developed a fever, and my face became so swollen that I looked like I hadn’t slept in days. I still made it to the red carpet and got papped but honestly, my confidence took a hit that night. Seeing everyone concerned and constantly asking if I was okay made me even more conscious. But I still tried my best to keep my energy up because, of course, I genuinely wanted to enjoy my friend’s special day. And it just got me thinking… life is so fucking unpredictable, man. Sometimes, no matter how much you prepare for something or how perfectly you imagine it going, things can turn out completely differently. I guess that’s life. ❤️ Outfit @dawoodkhantailors

@men too real Fun fact: Obsession (2026): Director Curry Barker originally gained attention for making low-budget horror films on YouTube, including Milk & Serial, which was produced for just $800. His success with independent horror helped pave the way for Obsession, a supernatural horror film about a man whose desperate wish to be loved takes a terrifying turn.
Ahead of Brazil’s presidential election, Brazilian President Lula da Silva publicly challenged rival Flávio Bolsonaro to open his bank accounts, release his phone records, and let the Brazilian people decide who really is the corrupt one. Lula publicly accused the Bolsonaro family of serving American interests while questioning their credibility on corruption and national sovereignty. He specifically condemned the family’s alleged role in encouraging foreign pressure against Brazil, accusing them of putting Washington’s interests ahead of their own country’s independence. With corruption at the core for many voters before the election, Lula challenged Flávio Bolsonaro to submit his financial and communications records, including those of his family, for judicial review before voters head to the polls. The confrontation comes as Flávio’s father, Jair Bolsonaro, faces imprisonment for his role in a failed coup attempt after his 2022 electoral defeat, and as tensions rise over Washington’s influence in Brazilian politics. Flávio faces multiple investigations, including for money laundering, corruption, tax evasion, and salary kickbacks. The money laundering is linked to financing a multimillion-dollar film about his father, while a separate inquiry ties him to financial connections with a lawyer implicated in Brazil’s INSS pension-fraud scandal. On October 16, Reuters reported that internal Meta communications obtained by Folha revealed that Meta restricted Lula’s Instagram accounts while its systems recommended Flávio Bolsonaro’s profile and WhatsApp channel. Lula’s campaign also alleged unequal treatment in AI-generated political images, advertising and post visibility. Brazil’s electoral court ordered Meta to ensure equal treatment, and while Meta acknowledged technical problems, it denied deliberate political favouritism. The Intercept Brasil also revealed that Flávio’s campaign paid R$600,000 to a cybersecurity company whose technology was allegedly marketed abroad for covert political manipulation, including fake accounts, voter profiling and disinformation.
