Last week during MFW I had the opportunity to visit Alice Yu’s showroom presentation, showcasing her Fall/Winter 26/27 collection.

I admire the designer’s craftsmanship and dedication to staying true to to her Chinese heritage.

All of the embellishments, handmade with different traditional Chinese techniques:

Feather Craftsmanship
Chinese Ceramic painting
Guangdong embroidery
Handmade fabric flowers
Chaozhou Beaded Embroidery
And many more.

The presentation also included a beautiful and educational documentary showing behind the scenes of each technique.
