Sometimes saving money comes with surprises.
What is a GTY cabin booking? It means you choose the cabin type (balcony) but the cruise line assigns the exact room later.
The upside?
We saved about $350 per person
The downside?
Our balcony is a tender boat parking lot.
Now to be fair, itβs a 6 day cruise of which weβre in port for 3 days, we still have light, fresh air AND a partial ocean view.
Sometimes the cheapest cruise cabin IS the smartest move just be prepared!
What do you think? This made our 6 day cruise $700 cheaper butβ¦

Iβm perfectly fine with the yellow thingy. Iβm in the cabin to sleep for a few hours, shower and get dressed. π€·π½ββοΈ

Honestly after seeing several cabins with no windows i call it a win as long as theres a balcony π
