Incredible support for Palestine from runners at the 2026 NYC marathon on November 1. Over 60,000 runners from around the world. New Yorkers from @southasianleft and allies cheered the runners with Palestinian flags and demanded dropping marathon sponsor TCS (Tata), which is complicit in “israel’s” ongoing j€n0syde against Palestinians.
Aside from stopping the ongoing j€n0syď€, the right of return is the single most important pillar of Palestinian liberation. There is no liberation without return; Zionism can only be dismantled through Palestinian return. The Palestinian right of return is enshrined in international law and UN General Assembly Resolution 194, in addition to being a matter of basic morality. “Israel” -with the funding and complicity of US and Europe taxpayers, their political leaders, and oligarchs- has obstructed Palestinian return for decades. Today, of the world’s 15.5 million Palestinians, 9 million are refugees, including 6 million U.N.-registered refugees, most of them stateless and living for decades in horrific conditions in refugee camps in Gaza, The West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. They are native Palestinians and their children and grandchildren who were robbed and expelled over the last several decades from their homes and land in what became “israel” on the basis that they are not Jewish by Zionist militias and later the “israeli army.” The entity is an ethno-supremacist European settler colony superimposed on Palestine and the broader west Asia Arab region by western superpowers at the expense of indigenous Palestinians.
