I’ve used suno, and it’s super powerful. Used right, it can absolutely enhance our creative abilities. But I hate this age of fake music that nobody played any part in creating. If you think writing a prompt is the same as writing a song, you’re just wrong.
We need to get some boundaries on this.

I personally think that if you consider yourself an artist you should have absolutely no need for a "tool" like Suno. If I hear an artist is using it in their compositions, I think less of them as an artist. It steal from creators, is horrible for the environment, and is completely unnecessary to the creative process.

Yeah, there is clearly various good usage for AI tools but the question is, it's worth the other things that come along with it.

Well, I use it as a tool to test my original compositions/ ideas and then get real musicians to play on the track after I modify it in my DAW. No simple prompt based music for me. The fun is in origins composition. But AI is useful as a tool for a hobby musician like me who doesn’t have too much time for music. Would not use those tracks now for my final releases. Doesn’t have the same quality and standard as real musicians.
