2027: Nigeria will be in serious chaos if Tinubu loses the election – Primate Ayodele

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has predicted that Nigeria could face widespread vi%lence, political unrest and ethnic tensions if President Bola Tinubu loses the 2027 presidential election.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric warned that the consequences of Tinubu’s defeat could be severe and take a long time for the country to recover from.

According to Ayodele, Tinubu and his supporters are already convinced that he will secure a second term, making an unexpected defeat potentially difficult for them to accept.

He said, “If Tinubu loses this election, there will be so many crises, and it will take a long time to settle down; it will be an unimaginable manifestation because he believes he will win already. If he loses the election, it will be bl%%dy because a lot of politicians will go into oblivion.”

The prophet further claimed that a defeat could trigger attempts to prevent the announcement of election results, alongside serious ethnic tensions across the country.

He also suggested that Tinubu might struggle to accept the outcome and peacefully hand over power to the eventual winner.

“There will be several attempts to stop the announcement of results. The election can cause an ethnic crisis; it will take time for him to decide if he will release power or not,” he stated.

Speaking on the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Ayodele maintained that the party’s victory in 2027 was far from guaranteed, despite the confidence of its leaders.

“APC victory is shaking, but they don’t believe anyone can defeat them, and Tinubu doesn’t see beyond the Presidency. A lot of people will cry if he loses the election. It will be unbelievable and p@inful to so many. If Tinubu loses the election, it can change the electoral process in Nigeria,” he added.

I had no plans of touching this topic until it found its way into my comment section, so I felt like maybe I should open the door for discussion.✨

I want to make it VERY clear that I have so many amazing men in my life who I love and cherish. It genuinely makes me sad to think that they might feel like they have to overexplain themselves or worry about being automatically perceived as bad simply because they’re men. Having to prove they’re safe, that they’re “one of the good guys.”

But as a certified gym girly who has landed on the “wrong” side of the algorithm more times than I can count, I can also speak from experience about how devastating it feels to be misunderstood and harshly judged based on someone else’s perception of you.

Obviously, I work in social media, so criticism comes with the territory. But there’s a difference between criticism and having your character, values, and work attacked en masse by men who have already decided you’re less deserving of basic decency because of what you’re wearing, with their opinions reinforced by their favorite comedian’s punchline.

And that’s where this becomes bigger than a disagreement about clothing or personal preferences. It reinforces a deeply rooted bias that women somehow have to earn care, respect, and decency by fitting into someone else’s idea of what a woman should look like or how she should behave.

Respect should never be conditional on whether someone agrees with your choices.

I think we can acknowledge that it’s unfair to judge all men by the actions of some, while also acknowledging that women shouldn’t have to defend their character or prove their worth just to be treated with basic respect.
Both things can be true. And I think we should be able to have that conversation

Fijne dag, let’s go get it! 🫡🍀
