I wanted to share a few of the Shopify stores I’ve had the chance to build.

Every project reminds me of something many Shopify store owners experience at the beginning of their journey.

Most Shopify store owners know how to build and design their own store. Shopify makes it possible for anyone to launch quickly, customize themes, add products, and start selling. And that’s honestly one of the beautiful things about the platform.

But here’s the part many of us learn later.

Building a store the way we like it isn’t always the same as building a store that works for our customers.

When we’re creating our own store, it’s natural to focus on what we personally think looks good. The colors we prefer, the layout that feels nice to us, the sections we want to include. We design it from the perspective of the business owner.

But the real purpose of a business is different.

A business exists to solve a problem for the customer.

That means a store shouldn’t just look good, it should make things easier for the person visiting it. It should help them quickly understand what the product is, why it matters to them, and whether they can trust the brand.

That shift in perspective changes everything.

Instead of asking, “Do I like how this looks?”

we start asking, “Does this make it easier for my customer to decide?”

That’s the mindset I bring into every Shopify store I work on now.

Not just designing a store that looks nice, but building one that guides visitors, answers their questions, and reduces the hesitation that often stops people from buying.

I’ll be sharing more of the stores I’ve built and the thinking behind them. Sometimes small structural decisions make a bigger difference than people expect.
