It’s dehumanizing to see political praxis condemn the “West” for committing genocide elsewhere while ignoring its ongoing genocide against Indigenous peoples here living under occupation on our own homelands . How can you speak of liberation in the US and Canada while erasing the ongoing settler colonialism and genocide against Indigenous peoples on our own homelands? The Indigenous peoples living under occupation on this land should be the centered voices, not an afterthought
Genuine question… do you think it’s fair to ask for money for a toddler’s birthday instead of gifts? 👀
#PrayersUp! #PhiladelphiaEagles quarterback #JalenHurts has been placed on injured reserve after doctors discovered a #bloodclot in his calf, leaving him sidelined indefinitely as the team determines the best course of treatment. The 28-year-old reportedly suffered a calf injury during the Eagles’ October 4 game against the Los Angeles Rams. An ultrasound later revealed a superficial blood clot, which forms in a vein near the skin’s surface. Although doctors initially cleared Hurts to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a follow-up examination showed that the clot had moved, prompting additional medical concerns. According to TMZ, doctors believe the condition is treatable, but Hurts could require blood-thinning medication, which would prevent him from playing football while receiving treatment because of the increased risk of bleeding. The Eagles have not publicly confirmed his treatment plan or a return date. Hurts will miss at least four games, with his earliest potential return coming in Week 11 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Backup quarterback Tanner McKee will take over as the starter, beginning with Sunday’s matchup against the Carolina Panthers. The Eagles currently hold a 2-3 record. (📸: @gettyimages)
