Today, I took on the daunting task of cleaning my friends fursuit. This suit was made back in 2016 by an unknown maker, so it is 10 years old!🎉

My friend has owned it for many years and unfortunately received terrible advice on fursuit upkeep and cleaning. I am partially responsible for said advice. But that’s because I didn’t explain the steps too well.

Well, I received a Bissell mini green machine for my birthday last month and I finally took it out the other day to clean Polaris. And I decided, since my friend and I are attending Texas Furry Fiesta at the end of the month, I would try to get her suit a bit more… presentable.

Now, unfortunately, since this is an older suit that was a first time make from the maker and my friend being a bit rough and terrible at upkeep, it is not in the best condition. So I did what I absolutely could when it came to cleaning. It’s a massive improvement to where it was. And once it fully dries, I’m hoping to replace the stuffing in the spikes and sew up the hole that’s in the head.
