@lastchanceu BASKETBALL!
Today I saw a bunch of the players from past seasons posting that today marks five years since Last Chance U: Basketball came out on
@netflix @lastchanceu so I had to celebrate too!
In my head… I’m part of the team…..I’m the mental health coach that they just never call. 😂
But seriously, this is by far my favorite show of all time. And if you know me, you know I don’t even watch TV. I haven’t turned my TV on in probably four or five months.
But watching this show was different…it was inspirational🔥
I didn’t just watch the Netflix episodes. I was watching the actual games too. And even after Netflix ended the series and the show wasn’t running anymore, I still flew to LA just to go to a game because I wanted to experience it in person.
That’s how much of an impact it had on me.
@coachjohnmosley @coach_ken_last_chance_u and the other coaches and every player who has been part of that program, THANK YOU. This show didn’t just entertain me, it really inspired me. There were moments where I honestly felt like I was being coached too. Some of the things shared, I internalized and it really pushed me to another level in my own life.
And I also loved that they let the name of Jesus be said freely, and I respected that. You could feel the power of God through the screen.
So I just want to say thank you to everybody who helped create something that had a real impact. I honestly feel like people will still be watching this show years from now. I’m going to make my grandkids watch it!
And if anybody wants to debate who the biggest fan is… We can go one-on-one. 😅
May God continue to bless and keep every player. 🏀
