Morning Dew - Dead and Company, live at the Citi Field, NYC (June 22, 2023)

Throwback to the final Dead and Company tour back in 2023, I was drawn to this performance as John’s amp setup for that tour was the same setup he used for his performance this year at Mohegan Sun: the 50w Dumble Overdrive Special that was Santana’s and the Dumble Small Special, which is pretty much an Overdrive Special minus the Overdrive circuit. Back then, the Small Special was hidden inside a rack that had a curtain to cover the amp.
John used his PRS Silver Sky ‘Dead Spec’, which wasn’t released as such at the time.

His pedalboard setup was:
29 Pedals EUNA
- Source Audio Programmable EQ
- Boss OC-3
- Ernie Ball VP Jr.
- Xotic Effects XW-1 wah
- TC Electronic Polytune
- Ibanez TS10
- Xotic Super Clean Buffer
- JHS Box It Later
- EHX Q-Tron+
- JHS Prestige
- Marshall BluesBreaker
- Klon Centaur (blacked out)
- Keeley Katana
- Way Huge Aqua-Puss Mkii
- JHS 3-Series (probably Phaser, as it replaced an MXR Phase 90)
- Boss CE-2 (blacked out)
- JHS Artificial Blonde
- Providence Chrono Delay DLY-4
- Strymon Flint
- Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl HiFi
- Moog EP-3 (Flint Tremolo control)

The four Boss Volume pedals he got next to his board are most likely to tweak his monitor mix: ‘KEYS’, ‘DRUMS’, ‘GTR’, ‘VOCAL’.

Due to increasing storm winds, in consultation with emergency services, we have had to make the decision to end the festival at 21:30. Winds are becoming strong enough that taking shelter inside tents is no longer safe. We’re really gutted about this, but your safety is our top priority.
