Indonesia is ready to lead the Developing Eight (D-8) Organization for Economic Cooperation
for the period of 2026–2027.
The Indonesian Chairmanship logo symbolizes direction, unity, and shared hope, drawing on
the Nusantara philosophy as a maritime nation navigating global change through cooperation
and Global South solidarity.
Under the theme “Navigating Global Shifts: Strengthening Equality, Solidarity and Cooperation
for Shared Prosperity” Indonesia is committed to strengthening D-8’s role as an inclusive,
resilient, and impactful platform for economic cooperation.
