People don’t judge you after they get to know you.
They first judge you from 10 meters away with your appearance.
Then 10 inches away, with your body language.
Then, your first 10 words.
(Let's talk about the last two next time)
After a king and a peasant takes a bath,
you won’t see the difference until they dress up.
The first thing people notice about you is how you look.
Your clothes.
Your footwear.
Your hair.
Your skin.
This still applies today.
Maybe not as extreme as before
but the principle is the same.
So here’s the point:
Dress well.
Dress decently.
Don’t dress to impress.
Dress how you want to be addressed.
