₊♡⁺⋆𝘐 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘺 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 • 𝘉𝘶𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘴𝘵 1986 ❀༉ A voice, a guitar, and thousands of people singing their hearts out to Freddie. Amid all the grandeur of Budapest, this performance lets us notice the smallest things: the way he listens, the expressions crossing his face, the tenderness with which he gives the song back to the audience. ❀༉ Speaking about the original recording, Freddie said: “Love Of My Life is a lovely little ballad. My classical influence comes into that. Brian plays real life-size harp on that. I remember thinking, ‘I’m going to force him to play until his fingers drop off!’” That last line makes me smile. Such a tender song, and such a wonderfully cheeky glimpse of its creator. Here in Budapest, Brian accompanies him on guitar, with thousands of voices carrying those familiar words back to Freddie. ❀༉ I love watching him make room for their voices, imagining what it must have felt like to be there and sing with him. For a few minutes, an enormous concert feels wonderfully intimate. So many people, each with their own reasons for loving this song, sharing it with the person who wrote it. ❀༉ Today, October 10, as more of us gather for another screening of Queen Budapest, that chorus finds new voices. For those of us who never had the chance to see him live, there’s something precious about sitting among fellow fans and singing along, with all the love we wish we could have given him in person. ❀༉ Then he points to the audience and says, “I still love you.” I think of the people who heard those words that night. And of everyone hearing them now, forty years later, smiling through a few tears and wishing, for just a moment, that he could hear our answer. We still love you too, Freddie. So very much. 🤍 🎥 Queen Official 🎞️Video edit: @FreddieMercury.loves ©️All rights belong to their respective owners. ©️No copyright infringement intended. #FreddieMercury #Queen #LoveOfMyLife #QueenBudapest

Ahmedabad’s Garba craze has reached a whole new level! Some Gen Z youngsters are reportedly turning to IV drips to stay energised and glowing through nine nights of dancing. And they’re spending anywhere from ₹4,000 to ₹15,000 for these sessions! From planning outfits to dancing late into the night, the dedication to Garba is something else. While these drips aren’t medically necessary for everyone, the trend shows just how far some enthusiasts are willing to go for their favourite festival.
