Filmapalooza Recap!
It’s been two weeks since the Filmapalooza Film Festival and we are still on cloud 9!
“Switcheroo!” and “The Retirement Party” had their European debuts in Lisbon at Filmapalooza. Both screenings had engaged audiences, laugh-out loud responses, and post-screening compliments 👏👏👏
In addition to the screenings, we met great filmmakers, made new friends, and participated in a roundtable discussion for our script, “Breaking Up,” with screenwriter, Steve Mallory.

And to top it all off, “The Retirement Party” had an exceptionally great night at the awards show.
It was nominated for...
Best Use of Genre
Best Song
Best Writing
Best Directing
Best Film

It won the award for...
Best Song
AND....
selected to screen in the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival!

It is an honor to have our film representing Minneapolis. Congrats to the whole team!
