Vanaura Organics Presents Padma Bhushan Awardee Shobana’s Navadurga Day 6 | Katyayani — The Fearless Warrior The sixth form of Navadurga, Devi Katyayani, represents courage, empowerment and the fierce protection of righteousness. As the divine warrior who confronts Mahishasura, she embodies the strength to face darkness, the courage to stand against injustice and the determination to overcome every challenge. At Vanaura Organics, this philosophy resonates with our belief that true beauty begins with confidence. Just as Katyayani inspires us to embrace our inner strength, we believe in celebrating beauty that empowers you to own your skin, your journey and your individuality. Honolulu Police Department Chief David Lazar is making a bold move to improve emergency response and cut millions in overtime costs, reassigning 100 officers to get back on the street beat in just two weeks. “It will require some sacrifices of our department. These decisions were not made lightly,” he said. “They were necessary to make. It’s essential that we make patrol of the Honolulu Police Department our primary and core mission. We realize that patrol really is the backbone of our department.” Officers were notified 15 minutes before the chief announced the changes, shocking many of the rank and file used to racking up overtime. “It has a lot of potential to push more to early retirement,” Frye said. “Moving people around. This is a Band-aid fix, right? If we continue to lose, we don’t continue to staff. If more people retire, we’re going to be in even more dire straits come the future.” #hawaii #news #crime #honolulu #police
