i honestly don't really know how to put this into words, but i'll try anyway. seeing you carried off the field like that... it really hit me hard. i feel like the whole moment was just silent and wrong. so many emotions at once, but above all, just this: please, not you.

i've always seen you as someone who just keeps going, no matter what. someone who fights, who runs, who never gives up. and that's exactly why this feels so unfair. because with you, you never really expect to be knocked out of the game like that.

and i think what's bothering me most isn't just the moment itself, but imagining how you must be feeling right now. because it's not just a game, it's your sport, your life, your everything. and then something like this just happens so suddenly. it's tough.

but i just want to tell you: this moment doesn't change who you are. it really doesn't. you are not that one moment when you had to leave the field injured. you are so much more than that. you are all the games before, all the battles, all the little and big moments when you showed how strong you are.

i truly hope that you take the time you need now, even if it's difficult. not for anyone else, but for yourself. so that you can get healthy again and be back where you belong – on the field, but only when your body is truly ready.

i think i just wanted to tell you that i don't define you by what happened today. i still see you as exactly the player i love more than anything, and that will never change. 🫂
