Congratulations to professors Cong Trinh and Feng-Yuan Zhang on receiving Chancellor’s Innovation Fund Awards! 🏆 👏
Trinh (Ferguson Fellow, @cbe_utk) and Zhang (@mae_utk) were chosen through a rigorous process that included a pitch competition during which they described the benefits of their technology and how the funding would help them commercialize the ideas. Their projects involve the biomanufacturing of natural butyl acetate and the development of a new electrode technology and manufacturing approach.
