She smells the cash before she says a word. A fan of 20,000 won notes, eyes closed, a small satisfied breath, and the mood of the whole clip is settled.

In Doctor X: Mafia in White (2026), Jang Hui-suk, played by Lee Jung-eun, treats money as a source of pure confidence. The “money can’t buy happiness, but my mood when I have money” energy is relatable because it is so honest, and the scene never pretends to be above it.

The visual storytelling does the work: a tight close-up on the banknotes, then a wide, unhurried walk through a clean hospital lobby with her coat over one arm. The shift from private delight to public composure makes it a compact character study, and you can almost hear the pace of her steps.

This SBS remake of the Japanese Doctor X is full of small moments like this, and this one is a must-see for anyone who enjoys a character that knows exactly what she values. Save this post or share it with the friend whose mood depends on payday.

Some things in life you simply cannot prepare your heart for. 💔
Just days ago, we were on set in Atlanta, bringing yet another story to life. Never imagining those moments would become memories we’d have to hold on to so soon.
Beyond your undeniable talent and dedication to your craft, what will always stand out to me is the beautiful spirit you carried. Always so incredibly kind, never a negative word about anyone or anything, never a complaint. Just a genuine smile, a joyous heart, and a warmth that made everyone around you feel welcome. Regardless of what you may have been facing in your own life, you never allowed it to overshadow the kindness you extended to others, and that speaks volumes about the man you were.
You built a body of work and a legacy deserving of recognition and celebration. It’s heartbreaking knowing there were still so many stories left to tell, dreams to fulfill, and flowers you deserved to receive while you were here.
My prayer is that your name continues to be spoken, your work celebrated, and your kindness remembered.
To your family and loved ones, my deepest prayers and condolences.
Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and most importantly, the example you set simply by being a genuinely good human being.
Your presence was a gift. Your kindness was your character. Your work is your legacy.

🙏🏼 Job well done, Hakeem. Rest peacefully 🕊️🤍
