Almost a year ago, I considered myself somewhere between spiritual and atheist. I wasn’t against God, I just wasn’t sure I believed in Him. Slowly, something in my heart began to change. I started searching, praying and opening myself up to a faith I never thought I would have. Somewhere along the way, I realised I wasn’t just searching for God anymore. I was beginning to know Him. I’m still learning, still growing and I still have questions. But one of the most beautiful things I’ve learned is that I don’t have to be perfect to have faith. I can come to God exactly as I am. My journey is only beginning, but every day I find myself trusting Him more, turning to Him more and loving Him more. I never imagined I’d be here, but I’m so grateful I found my way to Him. 🤍 For the longest time, I let people condition me into believing that because I live, and have lived, my life differently, there was no place for me in faith. That somehow I couldn’t be close to God or worthy of having a relationship with Him. I’m slowly unlearning that. Faith isn’t about being perfect or fitting into someone else’s idea of what a believer should look like. God meets us where we are, and I’m learning that I can come to Him exactly as I am.
“You’ll never achieve anything without risk.” ❤️ @DanaWhite says life moves a lot faster than we think. It can feel like we’ve got forever, but we don’t. So if there’s something you really want to do, don’t let fear be the reason you never try. Comment ‘Dana’ and we’ll DM you this conversation.
