Do you keep waiting to feel motivated before you start and then wonder why you never seem to build momentum? 🧠

I’m a psychologist. And we get motivation completely backwards.

We think we need to feel motivated first, then we’ll take action. But action is actually what creates the feeling. Not the other way around.

One tiny action makes the next one easier. Then the next. Then the next.

Open the document. Put your shoes on. Write one sentence. Send one email.

So instead of asking “how do I make myself feel motivated?” .. ask .. “what’s the smallest action that could start the momentum?”

You don’t need to feel ready. You just need one block to topple. 💛

Comment MINI and I’ll send you the link to my Pocket Psychologist Mini Course where I share pocket sized tips to help you through day to day. 🧠

You + me = ❤️😚
