Unfortunately Instagram has decided that posting memes now involves writing a massive paragraph underneath them as well. If you don’t add enough they can start flagging posts as unoriginal and I’ve already had to delete a couple because of it. That’s basically why every account is suddenly using massive AI captions lately. Don’t like doing those myself so I’ve just wrote this instead and hopefully it does the job. Sort your app out Zuckerberg mate cheers.

The actor shared of the experience, "I love taking photos, but I very rarely share them. As we were living through Carrie White's prom, though, it felt like we were playing in the shadow of history, and I wanted to remember this brilliant collection of artists."

All episodes of CARRIE are now streaming on Prime Video.

India is projected to remain the world’s fastest-growing major economy in 2026, with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) raising its growth forecast to 7% in its latest World Economic Outlook released on October 13.

The revised forecast marks a 0.6 percentage-point increase from the IMF’s July estimate of 6.4% for the 2026–27 financial year. The upgrade reflects stronger-than-expected economic momentum, supported by robust domestic demand and a resilient services sector. India’s growth is also projected at 7% in 2027–28.

India’s projected growth is significantly higher than that of other major economies. China is expected to grow by 4.5% in 2026, while the United States is forecast to expand by 2.3%. Among European economies, Spain is projected to grow by 2.5%, while Germany and the United Kingdom are both expected to record 1.3% growth. Japan’s economy is forecast to expand by just 0.7%.

The IMF has projected global economic growth of 3.1% in 2026, slightly higher than its previous estimate of 3%. However, it has warned that the global economy faces significant risks from geopolitical conflicts, elevated energy prices, rising public debt and uncertainty surrounding the profitability of investments in artificial intelligence.

Higher crude oil prices are a particular concern for India, which relies heavily on imported oil. A prolonged rise in energy costs could put pressure on inflation, the trade balance and household spending.

Despite these risks, the IMF’s upward revision signals confidence in India’s near-term economic momentum, even as growth remains uneven across the world.
