Leaving a LA weekend more in love with dance and extremely grateful for the opportunities and people around Sylvie Win. Thank you to all who made this possible, starting with those who have always believed in Sylvie Win and supported her (crazy at times) dream to follow many paths of dance. Sylvie Win loves conventions and learning so many styles Thank you to all who have helped over many years. Thank you to @opusnationals , @pressplay , @ryzedance , @dannydlawn , Steph, and Sam for putting on an incredible weekend of dance, spirit, and team bonding. Sylvie Win will not forget these moments - from her first real roller coaster to a smoothie she has died to try to classes that moved her to new and old friends that she feels so lucky to have. Thank you to the incredible faculty who shared their talents, @erica_klein , @kellysweeney1 , @ja_collective , @sabmccarthy , @jakemcauley_ , @sam_mcdub , @dannydlawn . Huge congrats to the First 8. All of the Artists of the Year and the Best Artists are so phenomenal, getting to see the humans you are was so nice too. Thank you so much for being so kind to Sylvie Win. We hope you all have incredible seasons and enjoy this experience. Sylvie Win feels so honored to be among you and does not take these movements for granted. Thank you especially to the teens and seniors - she so looks up to you and is lucky to learn from you. Thank you to @masterballetacademy for believing in her outside of ballet and encouraging her to follow her dreams. Thank you to @clubdanceofficial , @victorsmalley , and @iamforce . #dance #hollywood #legday #dancer #photoshoot

Show day dump plenty more to come but let’s start with the main event looking back on this I had an amazing day I looked fucking awesome and I’m super proud of the package I brought to the stage it truly was I believe is wellness and after years of building towards this day I always didn’t think I was big enough for a lot of the time and too see on stage I was being silly is really kinda cool and yes I wanted a crown we do this sport for ourselves though we can’t control the outcome we always want to win it’s natural but I did win with myself! What’s next idk and that’s okay but for now I want to spend time with the amazing people and celebrate the years it took to get here and then get back into a routine and work on balance 🫶🏽
Happy 5th Birthday to my favorite duo! I honestly don’t know where five years went, but somehow we survived the newborn double diaper era, made it through the toddler double trouble stage, and arrived right here at FIVE. Watching the two of you grow up side by side- with your secret language, non stop giggles, and deep, built in friendship- is the absolute best front row seat in the world. To my son: You are my mini me through and through. Nothing makes me happier than decorating with you, especially when we get to bring all the spookiness out for Halloween and transform our home for the holidays. Between your love for thrilling adventures, roaring dinosaurs, and the terrifying Jaws, you bring so much excitement and fun into every single day. You love creating, directing, and most importantly scaring which truly warms my Halloween shaped heart (I mean the fact that your heroes are Steven Spielberg and John Williams at such a young age really says it all lol). To my daughter: You are our brilliant, creative star. Wise way beyond your five years, you fill our home with your music, sweet singing, and a never ending list of new facts daily. You taught yourself to read at 4 and nonchalantly build LEGOs meant for 15 year olds- you are a force! Watching your artistic spirit shine and hearing you talk about becoming a grand artist when you grow up (while always surrounded by your favorite books) leaves me in complete awe of you every single day. You fill our world with twice the laughter, twice the imagination, and a million times more love than we ever thought possible. You’re half best friends, half tiny rivals, and completely the best parts of our lives. High five to five years of you two! (And high five to us for surviving!) Photos by @loridormanphotography
