One of the most important things we built into this program is the Peer Pod. Not a 10-minute breakout room. Not a networking mixer.
A Pod is a small group of 3 to 4 Black women who meet during the off weeks — the weeks between our live sessions — to practice.
Practice the scripts out loud. Run a real scenario. Give each other specific, useful feedback. Leave with two concrete moves before the next class.
Because here is what we know: leadership is not learned by watching. It is learned by practicing in a container that is safe enough to get it wrong, and honest enough to get it right.
The Peer Pod is that container.
This is part of what makes UnShrink & Lead™ different from every other leadership program you have heard of. The community is not an add-on. It is the curriculum.
