My husband said there were signs this Laurel Oak was extremely weak and dangerous! We called out a reputable tree service to get it removed asap. It didn't take long for this tree to come down. The tree stump was hollow inside, which is a sign that this tree was indeed a widow maker!!!

Whomever told you this tree was a widowmaker lied to you. My husband and I have own a commercial and residential tree removal business and that is not what a widowmaker is.

Had a widow maker take out my top floor and my favorite car. Ever since then I have a qualified arborist inspect the tree of any house I buy
