Cities across France woke to scenes of devastation on Sunday, October 18. Protests which turned violent had left debris scattered across the ground, broken windows and shops looted.

Hundreds of thousands had taken to the streets across the country in protests over rising living costs and poor school conditions.

In Paris, the prosecutor's office said more than 500 people were in custody, most facing charges of receiving stolen goods, association with intent to commit violence, and vandalism.

Not men on the internet judging women they don’t know based on their clothes. 🙊 This has been happening to me (and many other women) long before everyone started bugging out over what a comedian said.

The amount of people I have to block daily is absolutely insane. It is non stop harassment every day with no precautions.

I’m tired of people saying “just ignore it” and “don’t give it your energy”. Too many people keep quiet about it. I’m going to call it out every time.

People are seriously bored and full of self hatred, so they want to try to tear others down. These men need to be held accountable for what they do and say to women in my opinion.

calebjshankles even threatened to contact my employer after harassing me multiple times on my page.
