Stop doubting. Start doing.
Kobe Bryant is one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Five NBA championships, 18 All-Star selections, and a legacy built on a standard of mental clarity that most people never achieve. And here he dismantles one of the most common ways people waste their most valuable resource: time.
Doubt is a strange thing. It feels productive. It feels like you are being careful, realistic, responsible. But Kobe saw it for what it actually is: pointless. Because the outcome does not change based on how much you worry about it. You will succeed sometimes. You will fail sometimes. That is the nature of the game and no amount of internal debate alters it. What doubt does is steal the energy you need to prepare. It pulls your focus away from the work and redirects it toward a conversation that has no answer and no end. Win or lose, the journey continues. If you win, you wake up the next day and do it again. If you lose, you wake up the next day and do it again anyway. The outcome changes the emotion but not the obligation. So the only rational approach is the one Kobe lived by: train as hard as you can, control what you can control, step out, and let it flow. Stop debating. Stop doubting. Do the work and see what happens. The result will reveal itself. Your job is simply to be as prepared as possible when it does.
Train hard. Control what you can. Let the rest go.
