This might have been the best fishing season of my life so far!
This season I joined team @shimano_benelux_fishing , the start of a great new chapter of my fishing career!

I went to Belgium with my friends @_savagerob_ and @nelisbaits and went on to catch a huge catfish on light gear while asp fishing!

After our fishing together I decided on a whim to go to the Ardennes to try and catch my first wild trout. While fishing there I Ran into @cedricnfg who took some of the best fishing pictures I have seen!

The season in the Netherlands opened again and I started off great with a nice 90+ pike!

A few weeks go by and we decide to try big lures for zander fishing for the first time, catching multiple 70+ zander and even a new PB at 83cm!

In August @icperch and I decided to try our streetfishing skills in the brand new Streetfishing masters Europe competition, where we ended up in 6th place!

On youtube I reached a milestone where younger me would only dream of, 10.000 subscribers on my channel! Thanks to all of your support we grew larger than ever before!

I completed my 100 pikes with 100 lures challenge and made a finale video with 10 of the greatest Dutch and Belgian predator fishing youtubers!

The Vistival event was amazing this year, we helped a lot of youth with fishing!

Together with @rozemeijerfishing we did a collaboration for a very limited Fishing With Calvin Tybrid jerkbait! Great lure to catch pikes!

Competition season was great with multiple 3rd and 2nd places, but for the first time ever we managed to land a 1st place at the @hengelsport_treffers_fishing predator fishing competition!

While preparing for the dutch national streetfishing championship I managed to catch a new PB perch, bringing my PB up from 43cm to 44cm!

In December while exploring the Dutch Polders I managed to catch a new PB pike at 111cm in the smallest and most shallow part of the water!

The start of 2026 Brought together the Guppie Squad and we went pike fishing together. What followed was a session of 19 pikes landed and around 30 pikes following/lost, the most pike I have ever seen in 1 day!

I can’t wait to see what the 2026-2027 season wil bring! 😎🎣
