Welcome to a space for sharing with others about the experience of being Wiccan or Pagan (magick practitioners)?I am a novice just starting and l truly feel a momentum and connection, a deeper understanding of myself.l know we have had that feeling floating in unanchored loneliness, my Mother brought me up Christan she is extremely loving and wonderful has always supported independent thought in spiritual thought, but Christianty could not provide a home for my heart. I do appreciate true Christianty and love it can provide. But l always felt it was fundamentally about the light. And although l have light in my heart a l also have darkness. I found that The Wiccan/Pagan beliefs allow for darkness as a partner and not an enemy. Both light and dark have theire values and there problems. want to thank my sister Jenny McMaster for opening the door. It started with a book she gave me called Visual Alchemy by Laura Tempest Zakroff. This book introduces you to Sigils one of the oldest forms of Magik communication. This interested me as an Artist because l had always felt a strong connection to every piece l create, they have a vibration of myself inside the picture. By using different images and shapes you can conjure an outcome into the world. We do this all the time by initial or name or signature a symbol of your identity. And most importantly through art and media imagery. Telling a story to churn the mind, change the vibration in your thoughts. Identify the infinite possibilities of the universe and put them into imagery. Believe the power of these images can and will change the course of the tide of life and others around you.
This was the first step in my conscious journey into the Wiccan/Pagan world. I hope you will join me for the ride on the Wheel. Leave comments below about how you feel about Wiccan traditions and if this speaks to you in a positive way or maybe peaks your curiosity.
We will explore the Goddesses the Gods, crafts, foods, traditions, spells and stories of the Sabbats and Connect with Earth Nature the Moon and the Beauty of embracing the child within giving ourselves over to the loving instinctual connection we have with the world.
