Hey babe. I'm a mathematician. and i am 38 years old. My family is from Sudan. wanted to spill some beans on academia: i wish i didn't feel like i was behind in any way during my degree. a lot of people do really well and then nothing. it's maybe something you can only learn with practise. but you learn to shut the noise out and find out what you want to do. Not what you can do for architecture but what architecture can do for you. the type of life you want to live/type of work you want to do. Don't mind others - you don't know what their motivation is coming from. it might simply be being top of the class for no reason. Good luck!

Brother thank you for your advise . I did study architecture at a college, but those white professors didnβt teach us anything about architecture because the majority of the students were black males. The college dropped the pre- architecture program at the college because we protested those professors didnβt teach us anything about architecture,
