🇳🇴 Coed Honoring a Legend: Jeff Webb
Today, the coaching staff and support personnel of the Norwegian National Coed Team take a moment to pause and reflect on the incredible legacy of Jeff Webb, the visionary founder of modern cheerleading.
As we put in the final hours of work here in Norway, preparing for the ICU World Cheerleading Championships in Orlando this April, we carry his spirit with us. Jeff didn’t just build an industry; he built a global community that allowed a team from a small nation in Scandinavia to dream big and fly high.
A Special Connection
Mr. Webb always had a keen eye for the growth of the sport internationally. We are forever proud that he consistently recognized the Norwegian National Team as a true contender on the world stage. His belief that European cheerleading could—and would—compete at the highest level has been a driving force for our coed program for years.
To Orlando with Purpose
We head to the Disney Worlds ESPN Wide World of Sports next month not just to compete, but to honor the standards of,development, excellence, athleticism, and spirit that Jeff Webb championed from day one.
«We compete in his honor.»
See you on the mat in Orlando! 👟✨
