Thinning out my strawberry patch by removing some runners! 🍓🌿

Strawberry plants send out runners that are essentially little babies that will grow up to produce their own strawberries. If you’re looking to fill out your garden bed, you can leave them. I left them last year, and we got so many strawberries but they were really small! So this year I’m removing some runners to give each plant more space. I’m aiming for about 6 inches between each plant 🍓

Are you growing strawberries this year? Comment below if you have any questions! 🍓

We had so many runners last year that I gave them to the school to plant and it filled in an entire 4X8 bed! 😂🍓
