I don’t usually post like this, but this one hit me different.
When I saw the headline about threatening Iran’s power infrastructure tied to the Strait of Hormuz, I immediately thought about something deeper than politics… I thought about consequences.
Years ago, I came across a book called One Second After. It wasn’t just a story — it was a warning. A very real, very detailed look at how fragile modern life really is when power systems fail. Not inconvenience… collapse.
We’re talking about hospitals going dark. Supply chains stopping. Communication gone. Everyday people — families — suddenly trying to survive hour by hour.
That’s why this kind of rhetoric concerns me. If we strike and Iran responds in kind the will be troubled waters in America.
It’s not about sides.
It’s about understanding how interconnected everything is.
You don’t “target infrastructure” in today’s world without risking a chain reaction that reaches far beyond borders. Millions of innocent people can be affected in ways most of us don’t fully grasp until it’s too late.
If you’ve never read or listened to One Second After, I strongly recommend it. Not for fear… but for awareness.
Because once you understand what’s at stake, you start to look at decisions like this very differently.
We can talk after you’ve read the book or watched it on you tube.
