This collaboration between The Supper Book-cult and @thenerdnuggets went beyond our usual monthly gathering.
Through MoMaMa: Movie Main Makan this Ramadan, we wanted to create something more—offering not just an event, but a space for shared joy, stories, and safety for children who need it most.
In collaboration with Sekolah Alternatif Anak Jalanan (SAAJA), we were deeply inspired by the teachers and the kids—their persistence to keep learning, growing, and staying curious despite limited resources.
Through the films we screened, the fun science experiments, and the books we shared, we hoped to introduce a small part of our world—our communities, our hobbies, and our love for stories—to them.
To everyone who volunteered, donated, and showed up—thank you. Your presence mattered more than you know.
This is what collective care looks like✨❤️
