Dalkhai Festival on Its Land of Origin : BUDHASAMAR🌿🙏🏼♥️

Dalkhai is one of the most vibrant and popular folk dances of western Odisha, especially associated with the Budhasambar region. The origin of Dalkhai is deeply rooted in the Budhasambar region, where it developed as a form of community celebration. It is believed that this dance emerged as a way for people, especially women, to express happiness after the harvest season and to celebrate nature’s blessings. Over time, Dalkhai became an important part of the cultural identity of the region.
