Russia’s finance minister attended a Group of 20 meeting in Bangkok on Thursday, his second in-person appearance at the event since the 2022 invasion of Ukraine, testing how far Washington’s rapprochement with Moscow will strain ties with Europe. Anton Siluanov and Bank of Russia Deputy Governor Elizaveta Danilova were listed as Russia’s delegates at the finance ministers and central bank governors’ meetings on the sidelines of the IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok, Thailand. Women experiencing insomnia during perimenopause and menopause often ask me: “Why am I still not sleeping, even on hormone therapy?” The hot flashes may be better. The night sweats may be gone. But you’re still staring at the ceiling at 3 a.m. and dragging yourself through the next day. That deserves a closer look. Hormone therapy can help when hot flashes disrupt sleep, but it doesn’t necessarily resolve every sleep problem. Persistent insomnia and overlooked sleep apnea may need their own evaluation and treatment. In my latest Substack, I break down what the evidence says about hormone therapy, progesterone, and cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), a treatment with strong evidence that many women have never been offered. You deserve more than being told that poor sleep is just part of getting older. You deserve someone who asks what’s keeping you awake and takes the answer seriously. ✨Comment SUBSTACK and I’ll send you the full article. #menopause #midlife #sleep #insomnia #hormonehealth
Sweetest Raina 💔 I haven’t had the stomach to share this with you…because there’s just been so much grief and so much loss in such a short amount of time. I pray this is the last loss I share with you for awhile. My heart aches that it is Raina. What I wouldn’t do to have her back….💔 • Raina passed away two days before my Nana passed away…and she was lovingly embraced in her last moments. • She went too soon and too unexpectedly. ❤️‍🩹 • 🙏🏽 To Raina 💌 …these last 3-years, you became my constant source of comfort and warmth. It has been my greatest gift to love you and to recieve your precious, pure love. 🐕 • You were the one who held me and got me through the aftermath of my father’s passing. ❤️‍🩹 • You were the one up all night with me crying and praying that Koko made it through his surgeries. 🐾 • You were the one who reminded me that love is safe and effortless. 🤍 • It doesn’t seem fair losing you because all you’ve done is be the one who loves and cares for everyone else. You have so many who cherish and who adore you. You are loved by all and family to all. 🐕 • I still see you walking around the house, I still hear the taps of your paws on the wooden floors, and I still feel you sleeping next to me at night—you pawing me for attention. I still smell your cheesy feets. I even miss your stinky toots and your hair all over the floor. 😭🐾 • I will always cherish our moments and the kind essence you brought into this home. 🩷 I am forever grateful for you, and I honor you in all the ways you deserve—you held me through the toughest time of my life and taught me so much. Thank you will never be enough. 🙏🏽 • Love you and miss you so much sweet girl. ❤️‍🩹🩷❤️‍🩹 Please keep watching over us all. 🙏🏽✨
