There are certain songs in the TA❌IRIDE catalog that have a real connection with me and the fans.

This track is one of those songs. SAFFRON, the song is about things that seems to be a certain was but in reality are very different. Saffron, the spice, changes the colour of food but not necessarily the taste and when I started writing it on a tour bus in Europe that’s how I felt. Everything seemed Rosie, but it wasn’t. The sound of the song was inspired by the feeling of the Foo Fighters song Generator which I was listening to heavy rotation at the time.

Now all these years later it still goes as hard as it did when Garage Mahal was released.

This clip was recorded last Saturday at Rock The Races. Gosford. 21/3/26
