When we got the footage last night of a big old mamma dog with a large growth on her stomach we knew we needed to drop everything and get her in.

🐶 We know she has been used for breeding dogs her whole life. She was living under a house.

🦷 She was a little reactive and showing her teeth. This is a dog who doesn’t have much trust in humans. I know under it all she is gentle as can be but we have to handle her with extreme care.

🥺 We believe she is in some pain and discomfort from the large growth on her stomach. We think we got her just in time as it could become critical soon.

🏥 We brought her straight into our hospital @wearehappydoggo and she has been getting tests and treatments all day. We will have a full diagnosis from lab reports asap.

I called her Nina Simone. Who knows what the future holds as her health battle has just started today. What I do know is that I’m very very happy we have her and can hopefully help her and show her a life of love and safety. The last time I saw a stomach like that it was Tina’s. I can tell she’s had a tough life.

Keep your fingers crossed for Nina ❤️🤞

WE’RE IN THE NEW YORK FREAKING TIMES!!!!

Just when you thought we were taking a break from the wedding stuff … PSYCH.

Still trying to wrap our heads around this one. We are so incredible honoured and extremely mind blown to be featured in the @nytimes style section.

Thank you @thejennyblock for genuinely caring about us and our story. It was a PLEASURE speaking with you.

Who would have thought getting your heart broken a couple of times would lead you to the best love in the world and a main story in the New York Times??

Honestly, shout out to my exes. I couldn’t have done this without you 💋😂

And to @weventsbymelwood , our incredible wedding planner, and @koko_king_photo , our insanely talented photographer, you two are the real MVPs and we can’t thank you (and your manifesting) enough.

The article is officially online now! Click the link in my bio (get a free trial if you have to, but you better read it)

It’ll also be in the actual New York Times newspaper this Sunday, October 11th, so go grab a copy… or 10 because we’re obviously framing this shit.

Oh, and @stephaniecassano thank you for loving me and creating this sick ass love story that we get to tell our kids some day.

THE NEW YORK TIMES, BABY! 🤯🥹😭

The A+O scarf the SK way. 💋 The perfect balance of cool girl and sultry. ✨

Here’s a little glimpse of what it’s like hanging out with my Filipino mum 🇵🇭🤣
